“They broke their backs lifting Moloch to Heaven!” Today I discovered this extraordinary poem “Howl” by Allen Ginsberg. It is so strong, only comparable to the book of Hiob from the bible in my view. Ginsberg is talking about “Moloch”, the bible is naming it “Behemoth”. Created in 1955 this poem is so terrifying up to date after 65 years.
