Still waiting for an order while stranded in this desolate part of town.
May be someone from the marketing department.
It is like doing a series of serigraphs but instead of changing the coloring like the famous series of Mariyn Monroe by Andy Warhol time changes me.
A sudden interest for portrait with acrylic did occur. In lack of real models I have to use a mirror. In order to make this approach not to narcisstically I imagine a series of paintings to represent different professions. This one is about a seismologist. Acrylic can be a strong means for creating subtle color variations it seems. Looks like using plenty of water and appling multiple layers is crucial. I definitely did apply far too much colors on the palette I realized.
This is me, digging for light, following veins of glimmer.
It’s time to measure up!
